Tegan and Sara's newest album The Con is one of my favorites of the year, so when I heard that a remix of "Back in Your Head" was done I became instantly interested.
Tiësto, who is apparently well-known especially in the techno/electronica world, remixed the song and it can now be heard on his MySpace.
So what do I think of it? It's alright. The original song is still better and that says a lot coming from me. I love remixes and any chance I get to embrace a new take on a favorite I do. I'm sure the word 'euro trash' gets thrown around a lot when talking about Tiësto and his music, and with one listen to this remix and you'll see why.

Ahhhh..I can't believe you called Tiesto 'euro trash'!!!!!!!!! The man is a true brilliance at work. I saw him abraod as well as in Hartford in the beginning of September, and he was amazing. People from all over came to see his show at the Constitution Plaza in Hartford on Sept.9. He is the #1 techno DJ in the world..that enough says a lot about him and his music. He is uniquely talented.

Tegan and sara should be honoured that he mixed one of their songs - infact in an interview they said they actually love it.
Tiestos brought them hundreds of thousands more listeners then previous - i live in scotland and hadn't heard anything about them untill Tiesto played their song at his show in edinburgh last year. He's amazing.
And one last thing, I'm tired of you americans labelling everything that has an electronic beat as "techno". No, he is not Techno, he plays Trance music. There is a difference. You should't write about things that you obviously don't have a clue about.
