As we said before, we missed out on what turned out to be a great show at the Space. We were able to dig up some photos of Efterklang in Hamden, however. So thank Lindsay, who has a ton of great photos on her MySpace and Flickr, for the photos below.

Photos from The Submarines' Show Last Night
After much deliberation and phone calls, Melissa ended up going to the Submarines/Headlights show in Northampton rather than the Efterklang show in Hamden. I'm not going to rant about how she showed up late and caught only the last four songs of the Submarines (thus no Headlights photos), but I will tell you that it was a great four songs.
Blake Hazard (pictured below, twice) looked like she was having the best time of her life as she played and sang. I'll leave room here if Melissa feels like she needs to add anything, but on to the photos.

Photos From Girl Talk on Friday
Sorry about the wait, but here they are. I was able to stand my ground in the front row and grab some of these shots. As you would expect, the show was amazing and I can't wait for Gregg to come back to the area.

Photos from Day 2 of Not Brooklyn Fest
So here they are. These are mainly the photos from the flea market during the day and the acts that performed then. We caught Grand Buffet (who was amazing) and one of the opening bands for the second part of the second day, but left shortly after that. If you have photos of Dead Meadow feel free to post a link in the comments section. You can view the whole gallery for Day 2 here.

Pissed Jeans Photos from Tonight (Technically Last Night)
You may have caught one of our MySpace bulletins about us not being able to make it to the Pissed Jeans show tonight in New Haven, but Mike Farrell was kind enough to shoot a few photos and send them our way. From what he told us, we missed out on a hell of a time.
Mike said,
"The pictures aren't too extraordinary, but the show was something else. Halfway through their set Pissed Jeans blew a fuse, but just kept playing...the drummer kept a beat for a solid 15 minutes until the situation was figured out and the rest of the band could get their amps working again. Even then the PA wasn't working, so they just kind of said 'fuck it' and stopped playing. Not even a minute later the PA was fixed and they came back for one last song with the drummer and vocalist switching spots. It was completely ridiculous and unlike anything I'd ever seen."
Pissed Jeans
There are two more photos in the gallery, so feel free to check those out.
Thanks again Mike.
Edit: Fred sent us some more photos via MySpace. You can find his gallery here, but here's one.

Photos from Boy Crisis Last Night
Wow, last night was a good time. I knew Boy Crisis would be a fun, but Francis and the Lights were a pleasant surprise. Boy Crisis, of course, brought plenty of dance tunes to the table. They actually have an incredible stage presence and as you'll see from the photos had a fun time with the crowd, and vice versa.
Francis and the Lights was the one band on the bill that I didn't check out briefly prior to the show. The New York band put out an EP last year, which can be downloaded for free off their site. Definitely worth checking out. Some real funky jams there.
Mixel Pixel opened up the night and were plenty of fun themselves, but I just loved Boy Crisis and Francis and the Lights. Mixel Pixel will be dropping Let's Be Friends on Mental Monkey on June 3. You can find/download "Sinking Feeling" off that album now. Full gallery after the pics.

Photos from Folly Last Night
Folly last night in Wallingford was rather ridiculous, but still a good time all around. Connecticut sent off the band in a very big way. Below we have some photos of the night followed by a link to our gallery. If I talked to you last night about contributing photos to the blog please hit us up at the e-mail on the right side of the page. We should have video up later today.

Llove Photos from Panic Last Night
Since I'm lame and decided to not be hungover this morning as I woke up for work at 6 a.m., I skipped Llove's set at the Panic dance party last night in Providence. Lucky for us, Lara Callahan, resident Panic photographer, just put up some sweet shots.

Llove
These aren't all of them obviously. So if you want to pretend you were there, visit Llove's MySpace (linked above) and go through these photos.

Murder by Death & Kiss Kiss photos from Sunday
Sunday night Murder by Death played the Webster Underground in Hartford. O'Death, Kiss Kiss, Bottle Up & Go and some other band opened up the night. I'm not really a huge fan of any of these bands (aka don't know their songs), but Kiss Kiss and O'Death both put on impressive shows. Murder by Death was great too. I don't want to sell them short, but coming strictly from a "I don't know any of your music" perspective those two were the standouts.

For more photos of both these bands, as well as the O'Death and Bottle Up & Go check out the full album.
And if you happened to miss Sunday's show and you're in Providence or willing to drive there, Murder by Death, O'Death and Kiss Kiss will be taking their tour to the Living Room.

The Dodos' Show From Tuesday
In case you missed The Dodos come through with Silje Nes on Tuesday, we have a handful of photos for you. The show lived up to the hype that I was beginning to hear of their live performances. And if you have yet to hear the band's latest release, Visiter, you can buy it here. It dropped March 18 on Frenchkiss.

Sunday Night's Why? Show at BAR
Here are some pictures we took of the band Why? and other miscellaneous things this past Sunday night in New Haven's BAR. The band Cryptacize opened, but we decided they weren't as pretty as Why?'s Yoni Wolf or Mark's NY Mets fanaticism.
These photos and the remaining 24 from the show are currently hosted on Flickr.
