Cool Kids at the Bake Sale

The latest set of beats out by the The Cool Kids is available on iTunes and will be everywhere June 10th. With two new tracks, most of the material isn't immediately new, but blends and progresses what the Kids have to offer for The Bake Sale EP. The recent "Bassment Party" is pretty accessible and completely in line with their previously released songs.

On their MySpace blog, "Chuck" posted some of this thoughts and addressed concerns by some that there were only two news tracks at the Bake Sale. And further, those people who are complaining (?) over the mixtape-after-mixtape work ethic.

"1. The Bake Sale is just the official release of all the joints weve made that have been floating around the internet for the past year or two.. its not our First Album! its more like a compilation. We wanted to give kids what they asked for..

2. The New Joints were to give people something new to put in their car systems.. i pod.. cellphones.. turntables.. just to have new Cool Kids shit for the summer."

We appreciate it.

Also, the Cool Kids announced somewhere on the post today that they're checking off their to-do list and getting to anticipated ventures such as the THAT's STUPID mixtape and hopefully the full-length When Fish Ride Bicycles for the fall. For proof, Chuck offered new videos of him and Mikey Rocks recording in the studio that he said should be up in a few weeks.
