Ed gave us the bad news back in February about Folly calling it quits as a band, but the band still has three shows lined up before they pack it in for good. Tonight's show will be at a place the band has frequented a number of times - the Wallingford Knights of Columbus (for some reason I thought it was the American Legion...is there a difference?)
The show starts at 6 p.m. and if you don't know the address it's 279 Quinnipiac St.
The band's latest and last album, Resist Convenience, came out about two years after they announced they were done, or February 2006. I throughly enjoyed the album and the one before it Insanity Later. One of my favorites of that year. This should be a can't miss show, but if you can't make it don't worry. As Ed and I will be there with cameras in hand. Expect not only a photo post, but also some video.
Make sure you add The Flaming Tsunamis to that list of bands too. They will be there.
PS: I interviewed Folly back in March 2006. I somehow was able to find it online so if you're interested (there's some laughs if I remember correctly) you can find it here.
