In the immediate arrival of round two of Wednesday, April 23, or at least the very beginning of Thursday, it seems appropriate to play before some work for now.
Animal Collective have released a video to accompany their new single, "Water Curses," stemming from their EP that shares the same name. According to Domino, the EP is due out May 6. The video, like the song, or like any song by Animal Collective, is basically a hot mess. This time, it's just really pixelated. The song is fairly enjoyable; however, the video is distracting.
Director: Andrew Kuo. I really hope it's the same guy who did "No Lifeguard on Duty" (check out the graphs) for the New York Times. It would explain a lot.
See it for yourself:
P.S. We apologize for the video overload.
