Blogger was being lame this morning, so hopefully no one had an issues. It seems simply refreshing the page will get you past any problems. Anyways, our podcast is still waiting to be thrown online (cough: Ed :cough) so in order for anyone not to missed out on some info I'll say a few words on it.
Souvenir's Young America will be playing in Wallingford, Conn. tonight. Those people in the Wallingford area are being spoiled with Ghastly City Sleep last night and now this tonight. Someone let me know how Ghastly City Sleep was since I missed out. We all did actually. We're bums. Or drunks.
Some comparisons of Souvenir's that were thrown around by Manic Productions were Red Sparowes, Pelican, Jesu and Zombi, but I've also heard Grails tossed around. Not a bad lineup to be compared to. The band put out An Ocean Without Water last year and they have three out of the six songs on that album on their MySpace right now. I actually like "Letters from Earth," which is off their 2006 self-titled album better than anything else on there, a bit more spacey-er.
Again, let us know how tonight is because I don't know if any of us will be making it down to Wallingford tonight. But good news for nerds like me, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be out at midnight tonight so you know what I'll be doing.

ghastly city sleep was pretty sweet. but there were problems with the venue. the cops showed up and threatened to shut us down. Ghastly played two songs (that lasted a total of 20 minutes) even though they took around 45 minutes to set up. Pygmy Lush played a SWEET acoustic set for close to 40 minutes before we reached 10:30 (the latest the town of wallingford will let us have shows) you didnt miss much. but still was a good show.
